I am Andriy, a Senior Python / Data Engineer with over 10 years of experience in software development. I work with Python, SQL, AWS, Docker, Git, CI/CD, Airflow, Iceberg, Trino, and other technologies to create robust data platforms and backend solutions. I have considerable experience in building complex data processing systems, migrating on-premise solutions to the cloud (AWS), as well as developing internal tools and libraries for analytics and development teams. At the same time, I am engaged in teaching and mentoring — helping beginners master Python, understand the basics of programming, and prepare for their first job in IT. I am close to the 'learning by doing' approach: I explain simply, using real-life examples, and help students think like engineers. I am also the author of the book 'The First Programmer's Book,' written in Ukrainian for those who are just starting their journey in programming. The book covers the basics of Python, data structures, loops, functions, and other fundamental topics in an accessible and understandable form.
